What happens on stage
Richard invites volunteers from the audience, hypnotizes them live, and turns a row of strangers into the funniest people you have ever seen.
Don't take our word for it
"Knowing full well that all hypnosis stage acts are fake, I got roped into attending a Richard Barker show. I volunteered to be one of the rubes on stage so I could prove my theory. Next thing I knew, I was drumming for Motley Crue! Then I was a rap star, rapping in a made up foreign language!"
"What a fun, funny show. Richard has a gifted talent for entertaining an audience and the on-stage volunteers, under Richard's guidance and care, had me laughing hard enough to ALMOST wet my pants."
"We went to the hypnotist show not knowing what to expect. It was the best! I actually was one of the contestants that got hypnotized and I just watched the video, I cannot stop laughing."
"Richard Barker headlined our New Year's Eve show at Sanford Performing Arts Center and blew us all away! His show was engaging and hysterically funny without degrading the volunteers who chose to 'go under'. A must-see show!"
"The best hypnotist I've ever seen, which has been quite a few. I've never laughed so hard. It felt good to belly laugh."
"This show is AMAZING!! Seriously. He's had 3 shows and we waited in line to get to see him! For the skeptics, I like the way he assesses each volunteer on the stage to see if they are truly hypnotized."
"A show not to be missed. Absolutely hilarious and a very memorable evening. An experience like no other. Highly recommend it."
"I was hypnotized by Richard. He did an incredible job at making me believe what was in front of me was truly there. If you have a chance to go to the show, go. You will be glad you came!"
"What an amazing show. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys having a good time! Can't wait to see it again!"
"He was awesome! Watched him 3 times and would have gone back for more if he was having more shows."
"He kept us laughing and entertained during the entire show. Everyone could not stop talking about how wonderful he was."
"Great show, great guy, well worth checking it out. You'll have a fun night of laughs and entertainment."
